Mahalo Junie-Ann Kamoku for 25 Years of Dedicated Service with CSE

<br />Junie-Ann Kamoku has been working for Coordinated Services for the Elderly for 25 years. She started
<br />working at CSE in March of 1987 as an emergency hire, Community Service Worker I. A year later she
<br />became a full time permanent employee. Junie was promoted to a Community Service Worker III as a
<br />Information and Assistance Supervisor in 1989. In 1999 Junie was again promoted to Community Service
<br />Program Assistant position where she has supervised five Kona staff. Junie has also done temporary
<br />assignments into the CSE West Hawai‘i Program Director’s position. Junie-Ann is responsible and
<br />knowledgeable in all areas of CSE operations. Junie-Ann finds great satisfaction helping Kupuna obtain
<br />services and benefits they are in need of; she enjoys seeing a smile on the Kupuna face as they leave the
<br />office after she has assisted them.
<br />“I wanted to say I have never had the pleasure of working with a better group of people than the staff of
<br />Elderly Activities Division. They are the core and roots to making the program a success and I am happy
<br />to be a part of the EAD family and with that in mind all I’ll say is imua and press on. Mahalo to all my fellow
<br />colleagues past and present and to all the Kupuna in Hawai‘i County.”
<br />The Kona staff feels the same about her. “Junie creates a work environment that encourages staff to put
<br />their best efforts in all they do”. “Junie is the core, she has all of the answers, and compassion…..”.
