B.Urgent Services Directory for Families Update Discussed earlier. C.Civics education citizenship project Awards ceremony held on January 22 at the State Capitol. Posters are currently displayed at the State Capitol. Carol is working to bring exhibit to Hilo and Kona. Jay Yoshimoto will do a proclamation for the 2 winners from Hilo. D.Conference There will be a stakeholders meeting on April 2 for a needs assessment. This is to help prepare for the March 2015 Conference. Stakeholders will include individuals from government, business, education and non-profit. E.Courts in the Community Carol reported that Hawaii State Bar Association will have lawyers visit high schools. Carol will contact Konawaena High School; Brooke will contact Kealekehe High School; Farrah will contact Honokaa High School. NEW BUSINESS A.CSW Support Margaret will have a discussion with Mitch Roth regarding the lack of support from Prosecutor’s Office or will ask Mayor Kenoi to reassign CSW to another department. Mitch was invited to today’s meeting but had a conflict in schedule; he will be invited to the March meeting. Agreement made to schedule video conferencing meetings earlier on Fridays. Meetings moved to 9:00 a.m. on the second Friday of each month. B.CSW Brochure Katie and Hazel will work on the content and Mele and Elena will work on the layout. Hawaii County seal and Hawaii County CSW logo will be incorporated. Photos were previously sent to Lee Watanabe, photos to be re-sent to Mele. Draft will be ready for the next meeting. ANNOUNCEMENTS (relating to CSW) Next meeting is scheduled for Friday, March 14, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. Roxanne will look into video conferencing with Puna Conference Room (Hilo County Building) and Mayor’s Office Conference Room in West Hawaii Civic Center or County Council Rooms.
