CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 10:11 a.m. <br /> <br />II. ROLL CALL <br />A quorum was present. <br /> <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Nancy Kelly moved to approve to agenda as submitted. Brooke Derby seconded the <br />motion. The motion was passed. <br /> <br />IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />th <br />The following corrections to the February 8 minutes were made: <br /> <br />On page 1, in regards to Robert’s Rule of Order, removed “only” so that the sentence <br />ends …for the approval of minutes and treasurer’s report sections of the meeting. <br /> <br />On page 3, A. 5. Essay Contest, edited statements regarding correct amount <br />requested: there are more winners and prizes so she requested to increase the essay <br />budget. Carol Kitaoka moved to increase the budget to $3,310 to accommodate the <br />extra prizes. <br /> <br />On page 4, D. B. Mentoring, changed roll to “role” and models in Brooklyn to “Berkley”. <br /> <br />The minutes were approved as corrected. <br /> <br />V. TREASURER’S REPORT <br />Nancy Kelly provided the following report. <br /> <br />According to the last expenditure report, $4,188 has been spent on the essay contest so <br />far. Carol Kitaoka clarified that that amount reflects only what has been spent. The <br />event includes paid attendance by guests, which will be deposited into the account. The <br />next report will provide a better idea about the overall expense for the essay contest. <br />1 <br /> <br />
