<br />143 <br /> 1. Recommend that the Kona CDP Action Committee supports the proposed Public <br />144 <br />Works Department list of street improvement projects for Kailua-Kona. <br />145 <br />2. Recommend that the Kona CDP Action Committee request that the county and state <br />146 <br />elected officials, support the expediting of the planning, right-of-way purchase and <br />147 <br />construction of the widening of State Route 11 between Henry Street and Kamehameha <br />148 <br />III Road, while continuing to support the Alii Highway project. <br />149 <br />3. Recommend that the Kona CDP Action Committee request that the County and State <br />150 <br />identify the Route 11 widening project as only Route 11 between Henry Street and <br />151 <br />Kamehameha III Road in order to clarify the project funding descriptions. <br />152 <br />4. Recommend that the Kona CDP Action Committee request that the County <br />153 <br />immediately finance the Kona CDP Financing Plan update with current County funds. <br />154 <br /> e. Doug Payne requested that items #1 thru #4 ABOVE be a motion for the next agenda. <br />155 <br /> f.
