Salary Commission February 26, 2014 <br />Ms. Stebbins clarified the scope of the Committee who would investigate in more <br />depth the proposals presented or any other proposals, and report back to the full <br />Commission with their recommendations. <br />At this time, there was discussion regarding the timeline of the Permitted <br />Interaction Group. Due to the Merrie Monarch Festival scheduled in March, the <br />Commissioners agreed to meet in April in order to take action on the <br />recommendations by May. They agreed to meet on April 7 to submit their report <br />to the full Commission, and then they would meet on April 28 to discuss the report <br />and make any decisions. <br />Chair Lassiter asked that they return to the main motion to adopt Proposal #1, as <br />the dates for the Commission to meet has been settled. <br />Motion: Mr. De Lima moved to "table indefinitely" the motion to adopt Proposal #1. <br />Seconded by Ms. Stroh. <br />The roll call vote, was as follows: <br />AYES: Commission Members De Lima, Lundkvist, Stroh, Sumja, <br />and Chair Lassiter — 5. <br />NOES: None. <br />ABSENT: Commission Members Handgis and Morimoto — 2. <br />EXCUSED: None. <br />UNFINISHED The Chair directed the Commission to proceed to the next order of business, <br />BUSINESS Unfinished Business. <br />Item 7): <br />(There was none.) <br />SCHEDULE NEXT The Chair directed the Commission to proceed to the next order of business, <br />MEETING DATE Schedule Next Meeting Date. <br />Item 8): <br />The Salary Commission will convene on Monday, April 7, at 10:00 a.m. (in the <br />County Council Room) to receive the report by the Permitted Interaction Group; and <br />will convene again on Monday, April 28, at 10:00 a.m. in the same location to <br />discuss and vote on the report. The Permitted Interaction Group will meet prior to <br />April 7. <br />Page 8 <br />
