AARP TAXES IN 2015 <br />CSE will be partnering with AARP Tax Aide <br />Counselors once again to provide income tax <br />preparation services to low income seniors <br />who need help filing their 2014 tax returns. <br />Coordinated Services will once again assist in <br />scheduling appointments at the Aging and <br />Disability Resource Center starting January <br />2, 2015. Seniors living in the East Hawai‘i <br />area are encouraged to call our CSE South <br />Hilo office at 961-8777 to schedule an <br />appointment or contact your nearest district <br />offices to assist you in your community. <br />Appointments go like hotcakes, so call early!!! <br /> <br />WHAT’S NEW AT COORDINATED SERVICES <br />NEW Days and Locations for 2015 Senior <br />ID card Distribution in East Hawai‘i: <br />The South Hilo Office at 1055 Kino‘ole Street, <br />suite 106 will be distributing Senior ID cards <br />“DAILY” Monday through Friday, from 7:45- <br />4:30 p.m. except on holidays. Staff will also <br />be assisting Seniors at the Ka Nani O Hilo <br />Office also known as Kamana Senior Center <br />on scheduled days twice per month. Our <br />North Hilo office will be at the Laupāhoehoe <br />Train Museum and Pāpa‘aloa General Store <br />starting in January. With the recent relocation <br />from our Pāhoa Senior Center, our <br />Kea‘au Office will be distributing ID cards <br />Monthly on designated Fridays from 1:00- <br />3:00 p.m. For further information, please call <br />our South Hilo office at 961-8777 or your <br />nearest Coordinated Services District Office. <br /> <br /> <br />PĀHOA SENIOR CENTER SERVICES RELOCATES!!! <br />The Closure of the Pāhoa Senior Center DID <br />NOT affect our services to our valued <br />SENIORS!!! Coordinated Services for the <br />Elderly (CSE) has RELOCATED back to the <br />Kea‘au Community Center and continues to <br />provide much needed services such as <br />Information and Assistance, Outreach and <br />Transportation on a weekly basis.
