As we welcome the New Year we are so <br />thankful to have enjoyed a wonderful fun filled year <br />with all of you. Our program looks forward to <br />providing another exciting year for all of our seniors. <br />Our staff would like to wish everyone a safe <br />and prosperous 2015! <br />Call our offices at: Hilo 961-8710, Kea‘au 966-5801 <br />and Kona 323-4330 for more information about our <br />programs, or visit us online at www.hawaiicounty.gov/pr-elderly/ <br /> <br />Wellness Fair 2014 <br />2014 First Hawaiian Bank Primetime Wellness Fair, <br />co-sponsored by Department of Parks & Recreation <br />Elderly Activities Division, was held at the Edith <br />Kanakaole Tennis Stadium on October 24, 2014. <br />Over 600 seniors from around the island passed <br />through the doors to visit fifty vendors ranging from <br />financial information, care giving, home care, senior <br />IDs, flu, shingles, pneumonia shots, Walk Wise, <br />health insurance, Alzheimer, Better Business Bureau, <br />just to name a few. Ending the event with our <br />senior’s favorite game, BINGO, as well as the grand <br />prize drawing of a $200 gas card and a 2-night stay at <br />the Kamuela Inn. <br /> <br />Kupuna News 5 January-March 2015 <br />
