- Questions for the Planning Department. <br />(10 min) <br />5. Communication No. 2015 -22: Mass Transit Subcommittee (MTS): June Conant will report <br />on the activities of the subcommittee. The April 26t' subcommittee meeting focused on the <br />following: <br />- Keaukaha bus route changes including stopping at the Hilo Airport. <br />- Recommendation for including section 4.2 of the PCDP to be included in the General <br />Plan update. <br />Councilmember's submittal of CIP request for a Mass Transit study. (10 min) <br />6. AC Comments to be Considered for the General Plan Update: The AC will discuss the <br />General Plan (GP) update as related to the PCDP. The AC will also discuss and consider <br />comments /recommendations to be transmitted to the Planning Department pertaining to the GP <br />update. <br />(20 min) <br />7. Building in Puna Brochure: Elmer will update the AC on the continued development of a <br />Grubbing and Grading Brochure. <br />(10 min) <br />8. Discussion on Finding New AC Members: The AC will discuss the need to find applicants to <br />replace the three (3) AC members whose terms expire in December 2015. <br />9. July AC Meeting: The AC will determine by vote whether the July AC meeting will be <br />cancelled. (5 min) <br />10. Impact of the Lava: The Puna CDP AC will discuss the impacts that the lava flow is having <br />on the Puna Community and the potential short term and long -range effect it may have on <br />implementing the Puna CDP. <br />(15 min) <br />All Action Committee communications can be viewed and downloaded from the following website, <br />http: / /www.hawaiicountycdp. info /puna -cdp /implementation /puna -cdp- action - committee under <br />the respective year that it was received. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS: NONE <br />AGENDA FOR NEXT MEETING: Agenda item suggestions from the AC for the June 19, 2015 <br />meeting. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />NOTE: Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service, other reasonable modification, or language interpretation to access this meeting <br />please contact the Planning Department at 961 -8288 as soon as possible, but no later than five working days prior to the meeting date, to <br />arrange for accommodations. A lobbyist means, "any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more than five <br />hours in any month or $275 in any six -month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action my <br />communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials."
