PCDP Goal, Objective & Action Items Progress Update o Process for selection of a primary consultant for the Pahoa Regional Town Center Master Plan commenced in April 2014. Volcano Long Range Plan: • The Volcano Long Range Planning Subcommittee reengaged the Volcano Community to gain further insight and participation in the overall planning process. • The master plan was revised based on community input and submitted to the Planning Department for review. The plan included design guidelines and a forest canopy overlay district for the greater Volcano area. Mountain View Village Center Plan: o Subcommittee assessing the progress of work in gathering background data for plan development. o Subcommittee decided that the Mt. View plan should follow the format of the Puna CDP. o Discussion on the need to develop design guidelines and signage guidelines similar to what was done for Pahoa. o Regular monthly meetings are being conducted. 3.2.3 f. Provide land and infrastructure for o Allotment approved for $1.2 million in FY farmer's markets within village /town 2013 -14 CIP budget for land acquisition in centers. Pahoa.
