Map also needs to be updated to add Lava Tree <br />Road <br />• Open Discussion on Topics of Concern to CERS members and others in <br />attendance <br />1) Input from Rene Seracusa: Important Apa'a Road is opened as 2 large <br />trees blocked Kaohe Homestead Road and residents unable to pass. <br />2) Jon Olson revisited the Civil Rights claim filed regarding the 1998 <br />Hawaii Long Range Land Transportation Plan pointing out the Puna <br />District needs are not being addressed.. <br />3) Email shared from Hannah Hedrick regarding need to orient <br />individuals regarding CL's and Mass Transit issues to include overlay <br />and redundancy, hub and spoke, multipurpose inter - subdivision <br />gathering places; emergency routes, importance of drive and view to <br />determine viability of CL's, traffic sharing, and land acquisition while <br />still affordable. <br />4) Email shared from Stephanie Bath regarding Upper Orchidland and <br />40th CL to be sure it is included. <br />Next Meeting: September, 28, 2015 Location: Keaau Community Center <br />Adjournment: 7:10 p.m. <br />
