D. Jewel moved to approve Treasurer's August 2015 and September 2015 reports. Lee -Ann seconded. Treasurer's reports and fiscal year 2016- 2017 budget were approved. Action: Mele to check on whether anticipated July 2016 convention expenses should be budgeted in 2015-2016 or 2016-2017. VI. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC A. None. VII. CORRESPONDENCE A. None. VIII. REPORTS A. Hawaii State CSW Liaison • None from Cyd, CSW State Liaison. B. Elimination of all forms of discrimination • Mele attended 2015 CEDAW Women's Human Rights Award Luncheon sponsored by the Friends of the San Francisco Commission on Status of Women in San Francisco. In 1976, this non-profit was set-up to fund things the committee was to do over and beyond governmental funding. Exciting things are being done in San Francisco. Anything the Mayor and city doesn't fund, the Friends Non -Profit picks up and carries out events. Many different projects are going on that support the city's efforts to eliminate discrimination. IX. PROJECTS A. Teen Dating Violence • Website update 1. Mele connected with Dr. Jill Murray regarding video for message from CSW. All schools that previously worked with Dr. Jill Murray has Dr. Murray's books in school in library and books available for use by student body. 2. Mele made pdf of cell phone cards for ease of printing. 3. DVD's were distributed to YWCA and CSW has all credits for acknowledgement. 4. Urgent Services can also be placed onto website. Completing website will ultimately make it easer for public to access and view important information. Deb and Jewel introduced idea for CSW to invite Dr. Murray and to add key chains or another cost effective items with a message "love shouldn't hurt". Action: Mele to send website rough cut to CSW for review. Action: Farrah to send pdf of Urgent Services to Mele. E
