Action: Farrah will discuss with County of Hawaii IT to add urgent services <br />directory under fact sheet, minutes, and membership list on County page. <br />Action: Deb and Jewel will research cost of items that is cost efficient and will <br />maximize message that can be sent in a strategic fashion covering all quadrants <br />of Hawaii Island. <br />Action: Farrah to request a copy of Dr. Murray's contract from Roxanne and will <br />send a copy of the contract to Jewel for review. <br />B. Real Women Essay Contest <br />• Committee had initial meeting. Competition packets were finalized <br />and mailed out to schools as of 10/1. Farrah placed follow up <br />emails to Paauilo and Honokaa schools. Competition packet <br />comprised of 4 pages: 1) administrator page, 2) teacher page, 3) <br />student page, 4) entry form. <br />• All competition packets must be postmarked by the deadline of <br />December 21, 2015 allowing teachers enough time to organize <br />their plan for returning packets near winter intercession. <br />• Project Plan Framework for Real Women Essay was presented to <br />CSW; a discussion on human resources necessary to support and <br />complete the Real Women Essay will be explored. <br />• Final budget numbers were approved for Real Women Essay <br />contest 2016. <br />Action: Farrah will email Project Plan to Roxanne to disseminate to CSW <br />members. <br />C. Hawaii Island Women's Leadership Summit <br />• Friends of Future agreed to be fiscal sponsor so events planned for <br />forum will no longer go through state processes. Grant for Women's <br />Fund Hawaii was submitted to help promote awareness of forum <br />and what it does. December 2015 is when award announcement is <br />expected. Brooke, Mele, and Farrah are currently on committee, <br />committee can hold up to 4 members. <br />• Jessie expressed interest on being on this committee. <br />Action: Women's Leadership Summit will be kept on agenda. Add agenda item <br />to create committee at next meeting. <br />D. CSW Brochure <br />• Brooke sent files to Farrah, which will allow for edits to be made. <br />• CSW will need to finalize and add new members by November <br />2015, allowing CSW enough time to work collaboratively on <br />finalizing brochure for distribution in January 2016. <br />Action: Brochure will remain on agenda for future meetings so CSW can <br />participate in editing, correcting, and finalizing brochure layout. <br />3 <br />
