The raw data collected <br />will be instrumental in moving forward. <br />Ms. Gloor covered the outreach strategies for both the Planning Department and for the <br />Steering Committee. It was also noted that the Sunshine Law must be adhered to during this <br />process. Sign-up sheets for the SpeakOuts and Focused Meetings were sent around to the <br />Steering Committee. Bulletin board posters were distributed to the Steering Committee for <br />them to post throughout the planning area. <br />Mr. Carvalho moved to adjust the time of the focused meetings to be from 6pm-8pm. Second <br />by Mr. Moniz. Motion passed with 6 votes aye and 0 votes nay. <br />Ms. Gloor explained that once the community review process is complete, the raw data will be <br />sorted by topic and strategy and used to identify options for revisions that the Steering <br />Committee will deliberate on. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS: <br />There was no public comment at this time. <br />EVALUATION OF THE March 15, 2016 MEETING <br />Steering Committee members identified the following positive aspects of the meeting: <br />• Good food from a local business <br />• Enjoyed the role playing <br />• Appreciate Mr. Agres and his facilitation skills <br />• Good preparation by the Planning Team ue <br />• Appreciation for the Steering Committees commitment and excitement about what will be <br />heard from the community <br />Steering Committee members also identified the following aspects of the meeting that weren't quite <br />as they expected: <br />• Too many mosquitos <br />FUTURE MEETINGS: <br />Meetings dates and times will be determined after the community review phase is complete. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Ms. Pahi'o moved to adjourn the meeting. Second by Mr. Moniz. Motion passed with 6 votes aye and 0 <br />votes nay. The meeting adjourned of 7:12pm. <br />Page 3 <br />
