Hearing none, I would like to call <br />forward the claims adjuster, Mr. James Owens, please. Good morning, sir. Sir, could I get you <br />to raise your right hand for me, and do you swear or affirm that what you present to the <br />Commission this morning will be the truth? <br />OWENS: Yes, I do. <br />HEAUKULANL Could you—you're doing a good job of speaking directly into the microphone. <br />If you could just give us your name, tell us where you reside, and then you can put your <br />presentation before this Commission. <br />OWENS: My name is James Owens. I reside in Honolulu. I am originally from Ka`u and <br />identify the Big Island as my where you're from. <br />HEAUKULANL Good morning. We've received your supplemental report, April 30th 2016. Is <br />there anything else you would like to add or say before I open it up for questions from the <br />Commissioners? <br />OWENS: No. <br />HEAUKULANL Commissioners, I just want to reiterate briefly that the claims adjuster is here <br />today at our request so that this Commission can ask questions that you might have regarding the <br />recommendation provided concerning Puna Pono's claim. I'm hopeful that what we're doing <br />today is educating everyone and that we'll better understand how this claim is analyzed.
