2. To make necessary improvements to upgrade the <br />property to meet current building code standards <br />or to meet the special need of the family <br />occupying the home. Improvements that qualify <br />under the RRP are eligible items. Luxury items <br />are not eligible, <br />3. To finance unusual or continuing medical expenses <br />for a chronically ill or disabled family member. <br />b. For the County to consider a request to subordinate its <br />mortgage, the borrower must furnish the County with <br />current property and financial information, including <br />but not limited to the following: <br />1. New loan application furnishing the County with <br />current financial information of the borrower. <br />2. Current Real Property Assessment card or <br />appraisal. <br />3. Name of proposed lender. <br />4. Amount of proposed loan. <br />5. Purpose of proposed loan. <br />6. Term of proposed loan. <br />7. Interest rate of proposed loan. <br />8. Monthly payments of proposed loan. <br />9. Copy of current title search obtained from a title <br />insurance organization licensed to do business in <br />the State of Hawai`i. <br />c. The County also reserves the right to amend the terms <br />of its loan as a condition for granting the <br />subordination request based on the current financial <br />information provided by the borrower. <br />d.
