Frank proposed that an amendment be made, expanding the current Mt. View Community <br />Village Center Boundary to include all land area bordering both sides of S. Lauko Road up to <br />Puhala Street. After much discussion on the proposed area, the needs and wants of the <br />community, and the benefits and disadvantages for the community, the Action Committee <br />decided to postpone requesting an amendment to the CDP and take these thoughts to the <br />upcoming general plan workshops to explore the feasibility. <br />Communication No. 2016-19 can be viewed and downloaded from the following website: <br />htW://records.co.hawaii.hi.us/weblink/1/doc/80130/Pa eg l.aspx <br />9. Operating Guidelines of the Puna Community Development Plan Action Committee: <br />Larry touched on some of the PCDP operating guidelines, encouraged AC members to <br />familiarize themselves with the guidelines and reminded them how important it is for the <br />Planning Department and the Action Committee to be on the same page. The Action <br />Committee discussed several items in the guidelines, including the annual town meeting, <br />broadening community awareness, and subcommittees.
