Complications with the purchase of the Luquins property continue. owner of the building that was built partially on the Luquins property has agreed to take the building down by the end of November. There is another building that was built about 2 feet into the Luquins property and a solution to that is in the works. There continues to be a need in Pahoa town for parking. The PRTCPS would like to request that the County leave the Neighborhood Facility parking lot open around the clock. There will be a community meeting held on Saturday, November 19th at noon, to discuss priorities in Puna - especially CDP related priorities. The AC decided that Larry and Patti would attend e community meeting. Mayor Elect Kim will be invited to the January 10th PCDP AC meeting so that the identified CDP priorities can be shared with him. Update from the Volcano Long Range Plan Subcommittee (VLRPS): Dan updatede AC on the recent activities of the subcommittee, sharing that the survey developed b VLRPS was made available to community members both online and in hard copy from Oct r 1St through October 21St. A total of 287 surveys were completed, containing valuable information relating to the desires of the Volcano community. The results of the survey were encouraging and strongly endorsed the Volcano Long Range Plan. Dan stressed the need for additional help from professionals and the Planning Department in order to move forward with the Volcano Long Range Plan.
