The committee members discussed about the presentation about the <br />198 FEMA maps and how they would like to gather more information. <br />199 <br />200 b. Mr. Ogin moved to make a recommendation to the Planning Director and <br />201 to cc the Public Works Director and the members of the County Council <br />202 that the FEMA FIRM maps not be approved until two major concerns are <br />203 addressed: 1. The new maps seem to be placing floodways where <br />204 floodways don’t exist; and 2. Areas where floodways are known are not <br />205 included in the study. The motion also noted that time if of the essence for <br />206 this recommendation. The motion was seconded by Mr. Nelson. There <br />207 was no further discussion. A voice vote was conducted and the motion <br />208 carried unanimously. <br />209 <br />210 3. Discussion of how the Action Committee (AC) is to move forward. <br />211 <br />212 a. Mr. Nelson moved to have a meeting scheduled for October 26, 2016 at <br />213 2:00 p.m. The motion was seconded by Mr. Young. No discussion <br />214 occurred. A voice vote was conducted and the motion passed <br />215 unanimously. <br />216 <br />217 b. Mr. Ogin moved to postpone all agenda items not covered to the next <br />218 scheduled meeting.
