With improved <br />bus system, crime lessens and <br />businesses flourish <br />4.2.2.e <br />Aspirational <br />Ensure that pedestrians can access bus stops safely. <br />O <br />Policy <br />County Action Prepare a County -wide Transit Master Plan to provide an overall framework for transit <br />improvements while incorporating user input from each district. <br />A Mass Transit Agency executed a contract with <br />SSFM on July 18, 2016 <br />(May 2014 -April 2015 Annual Report) o <br />The Mass Transit Subcommittee has been continuing <br />dialogue with the COH Mass Transit Agency to increase <br />routes and accessibility. Additionally working with <br />Councilmembers requesting a "hub and spoke" type of <br />system that could be defined by a mass transit "master <br />plan". <br />o April 20, 2015 - Bus routes opened to the airports. <br />o Began work to encourage creation of a county -wide <br />transit plan. <br />24 <br />
