Currently, the <br /> County of Hawai'i Department of Parks and Recreation maintains Kaiwiki Park which includes <br /> an open field, restrooms and a pavilion. <br /> As background, Executive Order 486 dated May 12, 1931, set aside this property to Kaiwiki <br /> School and for park purposes. Thereafter, Executive Order 2225 cancelled Executive Order 486 <br /> on October 16, 1965.
