EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. <br /> • <br /> CANCELLATION OF GOVERNOR'S EXECUTIVE ORDER <br /> NO. 486, DATED MAY 12, 1931 <br /> WHEREAS, by Governor's .ecutive Order No. 486, <br /> dated May 12, 1931, certain lands situate at Kaiwiki, South <br /> Hilo, County and Island of Hawaii, State of Hawaii, were <br /> set aside for the Kaiwiki School, and for park purposes also, <br /> under the control and mafiigiiiient of the Department of Public <br /> Instruction; and <br /> WHEREAS, said lands are no longer required for the <br /> abovementioned purposes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOHN A. BURNS, Governor of the <br /> State of Hawaii, by virtue of the authority in me vested by <br /> Section 103A-11, Revised Laws of Hawaii 1955, as amended, and <br /> every other authority me hereunto enahling, do hereby order <br /> that Executive Order No. 486, dated May 12, 1931, be, and the <br /> same is hereby cancelled and declared of no further force and <br /> effect. <br /> Subject to disapproval by the legislature by <br /> two-thirds vote of either the Senate or the Nouse of <br /> Representatives or by majority vote of both, in any <br /> regular or special session next following the date <br /> of this Executive Order. <br /> an Witness l'Aprent I have hereunto set my hand <br /> and caused the Great Seal of the State of Hawaii to be affixed. <br /> Done at the Capitol at Honolulu this /6:1'4 day of <br /> a447.4W9.- , Nineteen Hundred and <br /> ia..44,„a.
