HIAC project. In 2015, CDBG funds were provided for foundation and site improvements. 2016 CDBG <br />funds will be used for the vertical construction of the facility and is scheduled to start in February, 2017 <br />and completion in December, 2017. A portion of the 2017 CDBG funds will be allocated to the Hilo Adult <br />Day Care project to supplement the vertical construction of the project. Part of the 2017 CDBG funds <br />will be allocated to the Food Basket, Inc. to acquire refrigerator trucks to transport perishable food <br />throughout the Big Island. The Kulaimano Elderly Renovations is another project that will be partially <br />funded with 2017 CDBG funds. Another 2017 CDBG project will be the Boys & Girls Club of the Big <br />Island which will use CDBG funds for fencing and gym renovations at the Boys & Girls Club. Lastly, the <br />Residential Repair Program will be utilizing 2017 CDBG funds to rehabilitate owner -occupied homes. <br />One year goals for the number of households to be provided housing through the use of HOPWA <br />for: <br />Short-term rent, mortgage, and utility assistance to prevent homelessness of the <br />individual or family <br />Tenant -based rental assistance <br />Units provided in housing facilities (transitional or permanent) that are being <br />developed, leased, or operated <br />Units provided in transitional short-term housing facilities developed, leased, or <br />operated with HOPWA funds <br />Total <br />OMB Control No: 2506-0117 {exp, 07/31/2015) <br />Annual Action Plan 33 <br />2017 <br />
