Soli: Morning. Takaba: Can you identify yourself and your relation to the business? Soli: My name is Jana Soli. I'm one of the LLC owners for Low Store. Takaba: Do you have any changes to you the report? Soli: Nope. Takaba: Can you describe your business? Soli: Yeah, our business is a small general store in Pepe`ekeo. We do food items, we sell gifts, groceries and we have a cold kitchen. Our hours are 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. We're open 7 days a week and the majority of our clientele would be the local community. Takaba: Thank you. Director Takase, do you have the report? Takase: Yes, Mr. Chairman. The applicant mailed 7 out of 7 notices within 100 feet; 29 out of 29 within 500 feet and there were 28 properties entitled to protest. We did receive 1 protest to this application; 1 protest by a voter within 500 feet. We have copies of the protest letter in your packets and I think copies were provided to the applicant as well. Soli: Yes. Takaba: Do we have any public testimony to this application? There was no reply from the public. Takaba: Hearing none. Commissioners, do we have any questions or anything to discuss to the applicant? Lopez: In reference to the letters, it says within 500 feet, but is it directly across the road? Is it over two or three buildings? Soli: The location of the park? Lopez: Relative to your business. Soli: Our business is across the street and the park is across the street. There is also a church in that same vicinity. There are a couple different parking lots and a basketball court. Lopez: Okay, thank you. Takaba: Any more questions for the applicant? Onizuka: You've been at a store for the while; do people congregate to the park other than for using it for sports or get togethers? Do you see people congregating in certain corners?
