There was no opposition by the Commissioners. Takaba: Motion carried. The motion was carried unanimously. Masuda: Mr. Chairman, if I may recognize that Commissioner Shelby Nahale-a arrived when this case was called. Taniguchi: Move to approve Application No. 16-25, pending final inspection. Onizuka: Second. Mr. Taniguchi moved that Application No. 16-25, Low's Corner LLC, dba Low Store, for an original Retail General liquor license, located at 28-1099 Old Mamalahoa Highway, Pepe`ekeo, Hawaii, TMK: 2-8-016:029, be approved pending completion of final inspection; seconded by Mr. Onizuka. Aloha everybody, and my apologies for being late. Commissioner Shelby Nahale-a, from Pepe`ekeo. I live on the Mauka side of where you guys are. I'd like to speak in support of their application. I don't go down to the Makai side a whole lot, but I have gone through there and like she mentioned, her family has been there forever. They are literally right there. If there are any problems, they know about it firsthand, right away. From what I've seen, it's just the old timers, doing what they do all the time, hanging out down there.
