Finally, three Departments (Finance, P&R, and DPW) have updated and implemented new <br />procedures for their interviewing and selection processes to ensure equitable, uniform, and <br />transparent selection of candidates. For instance: <br />Finance is: <br />• Performing uniform hiring procedures to ensure equitable treatment of all applicants. <br />• Transparent in their selection of candidates while working with large Clerk III referred <br />lists. <br />P&R is: <br />• Applying updated skill set criteria in their hiring process for all of their vacancies. <br />• Updating the NeoGov System of candidates' information to ensure a transparent <br />selection process. <br />DPW is: <br />• Incorporating the use of the NeoGov System into their new procedures of interview and <br />selection of candidates to ensure a transparent process. <br />• Following and abiding by all updated policies and procedures disseminated by DHR. <br />We will follow up at the appropriate time to determine whether and to what extent all <br />recommendations have been implemented. <br />Commendations &Noteworthy Accomplishments 9 1 P a g e <br />
