Takaba: Can you describe your business? <br />Miller: WHR, LLC is the ownership group for the Naniloa Hotel. WHR contracts with <br />Grand Restaurant Group, dba Kumu Enterprises to operate the restaurant facilities and <br />also with the hotel management company, Aqua Hospitality. <br />Chu: Aqua Hospitality is headquartered in Honolulu, which adds another layer of <br />communication reports. Stuart and his crew are on ground here in Hilo. The purpose of <br />the transfer is to make it easier to deal with the issues and we're going to legally have <br />the ownership have the license and have direct control. As you know, if you haven't <br />been to the Naniloa, it's a world of difference from the way it was. With the opening of <br />the new restaurant, it looks terrific. I'm not biased, but it looks terrific! We're looking <br />forward to good things for the community. Stuart, why don't you tell them about the <br />plans for the Poly Room? <br />Miller: Through the end of 2017 and early 2018, we'll be doing our engineering and <br />architectural related to the renovation of the Polynesian Room. With the County's <br />support, we'll be renovating the property in 2018. Hopefully by the second or third <br />quarter, we can have our permits in place to allow for the commencement of <br />construction. <br />Takaba: Thank you. <br />Takase: I have a question. Stuart, are all the rooms on the main building renovated <br />now? <br />Miller: Every room is completed and is in service with the exception of two rooms <br />which we're using for our temporary office space. Other than that, all 388 guest rooms <br />are operational and we're near sell-out almost every night. Hilton's doing a wonderful <br />job keeping the project full. <br />Takase: Is the Hamakua side scheduled for renovation, too? <br />Miller: It's complete. <br />Takase: That's done, too? <br />Miller: Correct. We opened at the end of mid-August. <br />Chu: Are they the same rates? <br />Miller: Same rates. <br />Chu: They're really nice. If you have the opportunity, please visit, right?
