Miller: There's going to be the three -meal restaurant which is open from 6:30 in the morning til 11:00 at night. It's going to be open 365 days a year and serve three meals, which is our requirement with the Hilton. We have the old banquet kitchen underneath the Kilauea Tower on the Hamakua side. It's on a needs based renovation. If we have enough banquets and catering that are required, we'll move to draw up the plans and start the renovation, end of 2018 or 2019. But right now, it's just being used as storage space. Taniguchi: Move to approve Application T17-14. If approved, public hearing to be held on December 7, 2017, in Kailua-Kona. Lopez: Second. Mr. Taniguchi moved to approve Application No. T17-14, WHR, LLC, dba Grand Naniloa Hotel, a Double Tree by Hilton, for a sale and transfer of the Hotel liquor license currently held by Aqua Hospitality LLC, dba Hilo Naniloa Hotel, located at 93 Banyan Drive, Hilo, Hawaii, TMK: 2-1-005:013, 016, 017, 027, 032 and 046, for a public hearing to be held on December 7, 2017, in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; seconded by Mr. Lopez. Takaba: Moved and seconded, any discussion? Taniguchi: I have a question. What about your parking lot? When are you going to fix that? Miller: Yes. We put a lot of money into the asphalt, and it still needs more. We have valet starting tonight and then we're going to have permanent valet which will commence sometime before Thanksgiving. Taniguchi: Are you going to fix the parking lot across the street too? Miller: Yes, that'll be long term and be renovated as well. Taniguchi: Thank you. Takaba: Thank you. Any further discussion?
