Senior Activities <br /> <br />Pāhala seniors at Mokupāpapa Discovery Center <br /> <br />Kea‘au Senior club making local version of Okonomiyaki - usually served at Japanese bars. <br /> <br />Kailua-Kona Seniors Duck Tour <br /> <br />A beautiful picture of Halau O Mailelaulani’s dancers before a performance. <br /> <br />Seniors of Paradise – early Christmas ornament making. Each senior made a beach scene ornament with sand, <br />shells, sea glass and other fun stuff. <br /> <br />ILWU Club takes a ride on the tram at Waikoloa Hotel as part of their excursion. <br /> <br />Pa‘auilo Seniors and Kamana’s Hanafuda Class friendly home and home competition. <br /> <br />Ka‘ū District Summer Picnic was held on “solar eclipse day” at the Punalu‘u Black Sand Beach. <br /> <br />No birthday celebration is complete for the Kona Seniors without a delicious cake! <br /> <br />Kea‘au Seniors dyeing silk scarves with rocks, marbles, golf balls, beads and coral in President Veryl’s garage. <br /> <br />Kea‘au seniors show off their unique designs on their new tote bags. <br /> <br />The Waikoloa Senior Club enjoyed an adventurous tour at the Kaloko Cloud Forest. <br /> <br />Senior Guard went on an excursion to Waimea to visit the Big Island Produce Keiki Cukes (Cucumber Farm). <br /> <br />Kupuna News 6 Information & Assistance (808) 961-8777
