You know, we have our eight <br />4 bargaining unit contracts to abide by. We have the ARS <br />5 rates. We have the OPEB. We have all of our other <br />6 cost factors. So the sooner we know what the Salary <br />7 Commission has approved and whether it's effective <br />8 March lst or July lst, you know, we'll take that into <br />9 account in our analysis. <br />10 MS. IKEDA: Deanna, what kind of <br />11 budgets do you folks work with? Do you work with <br />12 annual, biennium, and five years? <br />13 MS. SAKO: The legal budget is an annual <br />14 budget, but we are required to present the next year's <br />15 budget plus additional two years; so we're usually <br />16 looking at three-year periods but focus mostly on the <br />17 next fiscal year. <br />18 MS. The ten-year absence <br />21 of pay raises was a little rugged for everybody to deal <br />22 with for a lot of reasons, so we've taken care of that. <br />23 I understand the recession.
