ONO: Let me call on Amy. One thing <br />6 that Amy pointed out was that on the 40 percent <br />7 raise -- why don't you explain what you did. You <br />8 divided it up, right, and you did an analysis? <br />9 MS. SELF: Well, it seems that what has been <br />10 discussed at council is they were concerned about the <br />11 40 percent increase for one of the salaries, but if you <br />12 divide that by ten years, it turns out to be, what, 4 <br />13 percent -- <br />14 MR. CAMPBELL: 4 percent. <br />15 MS. SELF: -- each year, so that's kind of a <br />16 cost of living increase. <br />17 But as to your question about her authority, <br />18 council can make -- they can propose Charter <br />19 amendments, which is what this is; but it's up to the <br />20 people voting to actually pass it or not pass it -- <br />21 MR. HIGGINS: Yeah, well -- <br />22 MS. SELF: -- because it's -- <br />23 MR.
