Page 28 <br />1 Ms. Lee Loy felt that there should be more transparency <br />2 in what we did, although it is transparent because it's <br />3 a public forum. So I don't think we should criticize, <br />4 because that's her right. That's her right to make an <br />5 amendment. Whether or not it goes through, then that's <br />6 for the people to say, if it ever gets to the point <br />7 where it is a Charter amendment ballot. And if it is <br />8 so, it will take a long, long time to do that, because <br />9 as you know, it's a slow process. So I don't think we <br />10 should be concerned about it. I think we should get <br />11 our ducks in line and justify what we did, which is <br />12 what Chairman Ono will do at the meeting, hopefully. <br />13 CHR. DOW: In the County's comprehensive <br />17 annual financial report, of course there's a lot of <br />18 numbers, but there's repeated reference to anticipated <br />19 salary increases by County workers. And they use as a <br />20 reasonable assumption into the future increases of <br />21 3 1/2 to 7 percent per year. <br />22 I went back and I looked at a number of the <br />23 salaries that we've acted upon, and I assumed that <br />24 those salaries were set in 2014.
