Page 6 <br />1 I did it as an individual and not as the Chair of the <br />2 Salary Commission, because otherwise we would have to <br />3 wait until this meeting, put it on the agenda, get an <br />4 official position. So, if you've had a chance to see <br />5 that letter and the response that the Chair put together <br />6 there's no opinion in the letter, just purely the fact <br />7 of what we did and how we arrived at that (SEE ATT. C). <br />8 I have not heard back from Ms. Sexton at all, <br />9 but I wanted to make sure the letter was addressed, <br />10 because there were certain representations made in the <br />11 letter by Ms. Sexton, and I just didn't want to let <br />12 those sit like there was no objection from the mayor <br />13 himself; so within the content of the letter itself, I <br />14 stated that the mayor had testified about his concern <br />15 about the salaries and the budget, just to correct <br />16 those statements. <br />17 Any question on this or anything that anybody <br />18 wants to say about it? <br />19 MR.
