If not, <br />we'll close <br />10 that. <br />11 Under "New Business," Bill 98 initiates an <br />12 amendment to Article XIII, Section 13-28 of the Hawaii <br />13 <br />County Charter <br />relating <br />to the Salary Commission. <br />This <br />14 <br />amendment was <br />introduced <br />by Councilperson Susan Lee <br />Loy <br />15 and requires at least 30 days prior to approval of any <br />16 salary adjustment, that the Salary Commission submit <br />17 copies of a detailed report of its findings and <br />18 conclusions to the Office of the County Clerk and <br />19 Office of the Mayor, publish a notice that said report <br />20 is available for public inspection, and include in the <br />21 notice a detailed account of proposed salary increases <br />22 or decreases, hold at least one public hearing in both <br />23 East and West Hawaii.
