This has <br />3 nothing to do with the charter amendment -- that <br />4 section 2. <br />5 So, in other words, the purpose of that <br />6 particular section in your rules is affecting any kind <br />7 of proceeding that comes before the Salary Commission. <br />8 And I don't know what kind of proceeding that would be, <br />9 to tell you the truth, but that's what it's supposed to <br />10 be implying is that the rules are supposed to be <br />11 liberally construed. <br />12 MR. FRATINARDO: Amy, I have a question for <br />13 you regarding the rules and regarding other agencies. <br />14 Do other agencies in the County have rules specifying <br />15 that they have to go through? Is there like an <br />16 etiquette? So like, specifically, here it says if <br />17 there's going to be a change to a rule, let's say <br />18 public notice, okay -- so in 202-1(b), it says, "Any <br />19 interested person or agency may petition the Commission <br />20 for the adoption, amendment, or repeal of any rule of <br />21 the Commission.
