And, actually, your page number may have <br />3 been cut off to the next blank page, yeah, so it's the <br />4 bottom of the page. It doesn't have a page number. <br />5 MR. HIGGINS: No. <br />6 MS. SELF: It's 200-2, so then look at the <br />7 previous page. Okay? So it's at the very bottom of <br />8 section 200-5, "The Commission." And it's under <br />9 Section (b)(4), the very bottom of the page, under <br />10 "Regular meetings." <br />11 MR. HIGGINS: Thank you. <br />12 MS. SELF: So, what the charter requires is <br />13 that this Commission meet at least annually. So, it's <br />14 up to you if you want to meet more often than that, but <br />15 you have to at least meet annually. <br />16 So, what was in there before was "Regular or <br />17 general meetings will be held on the 2nd and 4th <br />18 Wednesdays of each month, unless otherwise specified." <br />19 I think it would be best to just delete the sentence -- <br />20 or the part that is struck through -- and just leave it <br />21 at "The Commission shall meet at least annually"; and <br />22 then that way you have flexibility, but it doesn't lead <br />23 the public to believe that you are actually meeting on <br />24 those days every time. <br />25 These are just suggestions, so you guys will <br />ISLAND COURT REPORTING & TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES <br />(808) 933-9800 <br />
