Chu: The Application already states...we only asked til 6:00 P.M. I think we have to
come in if we want to change hours.
Onizuka: The Department has already noted that if they go beyond 6:00 P.M. they will
need to apply for a special permit.
Taniguchi: Just a point of information, I was conferring with Corporation Counsel, it (the
Application) doesn't say parking. Who mentioned parking?
Lopez: Patty.
Heidenfeldt: It does include the parking lot.
Taniguchi: Where does it say that in the Application?
Heidenfeldt: On the Application.
Taniguchi: We're trying to find it.
Heidenfeldt: The letter that was given to us had three areas. Don, did you bring the
letter?
Inouye: I didn't bring it.
Heidenfeldt: It does include the parking lot.
Taniguchi: On the Application it lists golf course, putting green, driving range, Starter
building, pro shop. That's it, no parking lot.
Heidenfeldt: In our letter, it's the last thing...I'm sure you have a copy of the letter.
Chu: In the notice?
Heidenfeldt: The one that was sent out to all the patrons included the parking lot.
Gonzalez: The Report to the Commission does state that the request for increase
consists of the entire parcel. It would include the parking area as well.
Taniguchi: The tax map key?
Gonzalez: Yes.
Taniguchi: So, we can restrict...take off the parking lot...
Chu: We would say no sales. I think one of the issues would be sometimes the truck
will pull up, stocking, and...1 don't want our client to be cited for loading the golf cart in
the parking lot. That would be our concern. But there are no plans to sell on the parking
lot.
May 3, 2018 — LIQUOR COMMISSION MINUTES 24
