Is -, was there some rationale for that? <br />SANTANGELO: I think Chris had a lot to do with that. Didn't Chris -, in having the -. <br />IRVINE: Oh, okay. <br />SANTANGELO: Presentation that we had from the past Commission. <br />IRVINE: He thought we had to go out to everybody now? <br />SANTANGELO: Kind of what they had done and some of the recommendations. <br />IRVINE: Did they go out for public hearings with no agenda? Does anybody know? <br />Or did they have something they were discussing -? <br />SANTANGELO: No. <br />• <br />IRVINE: At those meetings? <br />SANTANGELO: And it didn't seem like they really engaged in a lot of dialogue. It was to <br />receive input from the public. <br />IRVINE: Okay. Well, then let's do it. <br />RAY: Okay. Well, let's -, we can touch on this again at the end of the meeting, <br />but since we've got our department heads here, let's go ahead and move towards that. And <br />actually, I had scheduled -, Ms. Tulang, Parks and Rec, is first on the list, so we'll -. <br />BESS: Mr. Chairman? <br />RAY: Yes. <br />BESS: I think since they're here, they can go forward and testify, and I'd like that. <br />I think what we need to do is we had advised both the -, your Commission -, your subcommittee <br />on attorney selection, had notified two of the people that it was highly recommending to stand by, <br />and if we're going to go forward with this, I suggest that the attorney can just listen to the <br />10 <br />
