CHR. HAITSUKA: As far as the volunteers for the ad -hoc committee, are there any <br />volunteers? <br />MS. KAWAUCHI: Chairman Haitsuka, I'll volunteer to head the committee. <br />MR. NAHALE -A: That means you are the Chair, right? <br />MS. KAWAUCHI: Yes. <br />MR. NAHALE -A: I'll volunteer to sit on it. <br />CHR. HAITSUKA: I'll volunteer as well. Do I have a motion to --- Ms. Jarman I think we <br />needed to include the members in the motion, right? <br />MS. JARMAN: Yes, but we can make a separate motion, as long as it gets in there. I think <br />that meets the Sunshine Law. <br />CHR. HAITSUKA: Alright, do I have a motion to form an Ad -Hoc Committee to <br />investigate amending Section 1 -2 of Article I of the Hawaii County Charter consisting of <br />Chairperson Jamae Kawauchi, and members Alapaki Nahale -a, and Edmund Haitsuka? <br />Ms. Kawauchi moved that the ad -hoc committee to <br />investigate the possibility of amending Article I, Section 1 -2 <br />of the County Charter consist of Chairperson Jamae Kawauchi, <br />and members Alapaki Nahale -a, and Edmund Haitsuka. <br />Seconded by Ms. Jarman and carried by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Honma, Jarman, Kawauchi, <br />Nahale -a, Osborne, Shumway, Unger and <br />Chair Haitsuka. <br />Noes: None. <br />Absent: Commissioners Kealoha and Fuertes. <br />MR. MASUDA: Mr. Chair, are you going to close file on Communications 8 <br />and 16? <br />Ms. Jarman moved to close file on Communications 8 <br />and 16.
