MS. JARMAN: The first sentence after (2) "The head of public works does not have to be <br />an engineer and currently is given the title "director of public works" will be deleted. <br />Ms. Jarman moved to adopt the Education <br />Committee's proposed summary language <br />for CA -1 as stated in Communication 256.4 <br />with the exception of deleting the first sentence <br />after (2). Seconded by Mr. Shumway and <br />carried by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Jarman, Kaulukukui, <br />Kealoha, Nahale -a, Osborne, Shumway, <br />Unger and Chair Haitsuka. <br />Noes: None. <br />Absent: Commissioners Fuertes, Honma, and <br />Kawauchi. <br />CA -2 RELATING TO DATA SYSTEMS <br />CHR.
