Mr. Shumway moved to amend the League of Women Voters proposed summary language for CA -6 as stated in Communication 256.4 by deleting the last sentence and replacing it with language to read, "Currently the chief of police is already afforded these protections, and this proposal would make the other provisions consistent with the police practice." And also amend the third sentence to include the words, "the opportunity" after the word, "allowed."
