HAITSUKA: Let's go back to Communication 258. Do I have a motion to adopt the <br />proposed ballot language for CA -7? <br />MS. JARMAN: Mr. Chair, I think there is something left out in Mr. Hookano's proposed <br />ballot language for CA -7. <br />CHR. HAITSUKA: Yes, that is what I understand. Do we need to first adopt the current <br />version and then move to amend? Is that how the procedure should go? <br />MS. JARMAN: I wanted to ask a question before making a motion. <br />CHR. HAITSUKA: Okay, go ahead <br />MS. JARMAN: On number (3), he says, "require signers of a recall petition..." and then he <br />doesn't finish it. I think he means to add the month and day of their birth. I'm looking at it <br />and I think he also meant to add the last four digits of the social security number. <br />MR. GOODENOW: Actually, I think there are some other issues there. However, your <br />question is - - -Has there been a motion to approve at this point? <br />MS.
