CA -12 RELATING TO CHARTER AMENDMENT PETITIONS <br />CHR. HAITSUKA: Let's look at Communication 258 with respect to CA -12. Do I have a <br />motion to adopt the proposed ballot language for CA -12? <br />MS. OSBORNE: Mr. Goodenow requested that we postpone this one while he does the <br />appropriate research and we move on to CA -13. <br />CHR. HAITSUKA: That is correct, thank you. <br />CA -13 RELATING TO APPOINTMENT OF CHARTER COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />CHR. HAITSUKA: Do I have a motion to adopt the ballot language for CA -13 as contained <br />in Communication 258? <br />Mr. Shumway moved to adopt the ballot language <br />for CA -13 as stated in Communication 258. <br />Seconded by Ms Osborne and carried by the <br />following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Jarman, Kaulukukui, <br />Kealoha, Nahale -a, Osborne, Shumway, <br />Unger and Chair Haitsuka. <br />Noes: None. <br />Absent: Commissioners Fuertes, Honma, and <br />Kawauchi. <br />CHR. HAITSUKA: Let's look at Communication 256.4. We are looking at the language <br />proposed by the League of Women Voters and also the Educational Committee. Do I have a <br />motion? <br />Ms. Jarman moved to adopt the Educational <br />Committee's proposed summary language for <br />CA -13 as stated in Communication 256.4. <br />Seconded by Mr. Kaulukukui and carried by <br />the following vote: <br />29 <br />
