• <br /> II . DIVISIONS <br /> A. Automotive Division <br /> Activities: <br /> a. The Automotive administration team consists of a Senior Account <br /> Clerk, Account Clerk, and an Automotive Stores Clerk who are <br /> supervised by the Division Chief. This section is responsible <br /> for insuring that all costs of automotive equipment parts, <br /> supplies, fuels, lubricants, and other related matters are <br /> accounted for where the labor and repair costs to vehicles and <br /> equipment are recorded for future evaluations. <br /> b. Automotive Section <br /> This group of employees which consist of five automotive <br /> mechanics and one lubricant worker and a mechanic' s helper are <br /> supervised by our Automotive Supervisor. These individuals are <br /> responsible for the care and maintenance needs of approximately <br /> 425 vehicles and other various equipment in our fleet. These <br /> duties are performed on a continuous basis in order to maintain a <br /> safe and functional fleet. • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> c. Construction Equipment Repair Section <br /> The Construction Equipment Mechanics maintain all heavy equipment <br /> from islandwide districts and divisions including the solid waste <br /> equipment under the direction of the Construction Equipment <br /> Repair Supervisor. The welding operations are headed and <br /> supervised by this section, whereas. the welder is responsible for <br /> all welding and fabrication work islandwide. <br /> B. Building Division <br /> Activities : <br /> a. The Division is responsible for public building construction and <br /> inspecting plans, specifications and applications for private <br /> building and construction; plumbing, electrical and building <br /> permits; and the enforcement of all County ordinances related to <br /> building construction and inspection. The Division is also <br /> responsible for the maintenance of all County facilities except <br /> • for park facilities. <br /> b. Janitorial Section <br /> The section provides janitorial services at the County Building, <br /> Schultz Siding, County Annex ( old Memorial Hospital ) and the West <br /> Hawaii Services Center in Kailua and Captain Cook. It also <br /> provides messenger and mail pick-up service for the County <br /> Building. • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> _2_ • <br />
