CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairman Bethea called themeeting to order at <br /> approximately 9 : 02 a.m. at the Parker Ranch Town Hall , <br /> Kamuela, Hawaii . <br /> II . ROLL CALL <br /> Members Robert E. Bethea, Chairman <br /> Present : Sherwood Greenwell , Vice Chairman <br /> Pamela Cushnie <br /> James O. Juvik <br /> H. Peter L'Orange <br /> Steven T. Nishikawa <br /> Aileen Lum <br /> Akira Omonaka <br /> Patricia Poppe <br /> Attorney: Christopher J. Yuen <br /> Members Francine Duncan <br /> . Absent : David Fuertes <br /> III . APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Omonaka moved to accept the minutes of 4/30/90, 5/14/90, <br /> 6/1/90, and 6/22/90 meetings. Seconded by Cushnie. All <br /> were in favor and the motion carried. <br /> IV. PUBLIC TESTIMONY <br /> There was no public testimony. Mr. Bethea closed this <br /> agenda item. <br /> V. NONPARTISAN ELECTION OF PROSECUTING ATTORNEY <br /> Bethea acknowledged that he had spoken with John Ono and <br /> Mr. Ono is not pushing this item. If there is no action <br /> coming from the Commission, it will remain as it is. <br /> Mr. Omonaka moved not to change election of prosecuting <br /> attorney to nonpartisan. Ms . A.' Lum seconded the motion. <br /> All were in favor and the motion carried. <br /> i <br /> 935 <br />
