• <br />• ., <br />Supervisors with respect to any necessary or proper coordination of <br />the functions of officials and boards not under his jurisdiction or <br />control. He shall be charged with, and shall be responsible for, <br />the enforcement of all ordinances, orders or governmental regula- <br />tions of the Board of Supervisors, and he is vested with the power <br />'to sue, in the name of the County in the proper court, to enforce <br />.same. <br />Section 2. Additional Powers and Duties. In addition to <br />other powers and duties herein provided, it shall be the.duty of the <br />County Manager, and he shall have the power: <br />(a) To appoint and to remove, subject to the confirmation of <br />:the Board of Supervisors, such County officers, boards and commis- <br />sions as are made appointable or removable by the County Manager, <br />pursuant to the provisions of this Charter. <br />(b) To make recommendations to and requests of the Board of <br />:Supervisors concerning all of the matters and things which, pursuant <br />to the provisions of this Charter, are to be ,performed, done or <br />carried out by said Board upon the recommendation or at the request <br />of the County Manager. <br />(c) To recommend, for adoption by the Board of Supervisors, <br />such measures and ordinances as may to him seem necessary or expedi- <br />ent, and to make such other recommendations to the said Board con <br />cerning the affairs of the County, as may to him seem necessary or <br />expedient.. <br />(d) To prepare and submit to the Board of Supervisors such <br />reports as said Board may require, with respect to the activities of <br />any office or institution which is, or hereafter may be, under the, <br />control, or subject to the direction or supervision, of the County <br />Manager. <br />-9 <br />
