Section 5.• Qualifications of Appointees of County Manager. <br />All appointments made by, or under the authority of, the County <br />Manager shall be upon the basis of proven and established• executive <br />and administrative ability on the part of the appointee, and of <br />training and experience in the work necessary to be performed by the <br />appointee in the particular office in which he is to be appointed. <br />ARTICLE VI <br />COUNTY OFFICERS OTHER THAN SUPERVISORS <br />Section 1. Creation of Offices, Boards and Commissions. All <br />offices, boards and commissions -designated in' this Article, except- <br />ing such thereof as are already created and established by the <br />Constitution, or by provisions of the general laws of this state, <br />are hereby created and established together with suchrother offices, <br />boards and commissions as may hereafter be created and established <br />by the Board of Supervisors, .pursuant to the provisions of this <br />Charter. <br />Section 2. Elective County Officers. Elective County <br />officers, other than the members of the Board of Supervisors, shall <br />be an Assessor, a County Clerk, a Controller, a District Attorney, a <br />Sheriff, a Superintendent of Schools, a Coroner, a Recorder, a Tax <br />Collector, and a Treasurer. <br />The Tax Collector shall be ex officio license collector, the <br />Coroner shall be ex officio public administrator. <br />(Amended November, 1972) <br />-13-• <br />
