The At -Large Chairman is nominated and elected by all the voters of the <br />county separate and apart from other members of the board. The County <br />Board must contain either five or seven members.(including the chairman). <br />2. Upon adoption of this plan, the county shall be redistricted to reflect <br />the change in the number of commissioners on the board who are elected by <br />district. The first At -Large Chairman shall be elected at the general <br />election following adoption of the plan. <br />3. The chairman is amember of the Board in all other respects than being <br />elected by all voters in the county. <br />4, The At -Large Chairman Plan is mutually exclusive with the Elected Executive-, <br />Plan and the County Manager Plan and a county may not adopt the Auditor- r <br />Administrator Plan while operating under the At -Large Chairman Plan. A �I <br />county may adopt the At -Large Chairman flan and the County Administrator` <br />Plan either concurrently or while the other plan is in force. <br />5. There is no change in the statutory duties of the Chairman. The <br />At -Large Chairman will be able to provide direct attention to <br />county wide problems. lie will likely be viewed as similar <br />to the mayor of a city. <br />
