Executive elected for 4 year term - is elected at the general <br />election following the adoption of the elected executive plan. <br />The Executive shall employ an Administrative Assistant. <br />2. The offices of Auditor. Treasurer and Register of Deeds are abolished <br />while the offices of Surveyor and Coronor are made appointive. <br />3. The Executive performs all duties of an administrative nature vested <br />in or imposed on the County Board and such additional duties as are <br />granted or imposed by the County Board. By resolution of the County <br />Board, the Executive may also serve as the head of any department for <br />which he possesses the qualifications. <br />4. The Executive can veto any ordinance or resolution adopted by the <br />County Board - a veto can be overridden by 2/3 vote of County Board. <br />5. The Executive prepares annual budget and five - year capital improve- <br />ment budget for submission to County Board. <br />6. The Executive exercises personnel responsibilities of County Board. <br />7. <br />No county administrative Loards can be appointed except for activities <br />jointly administered with another jurisdiction.
