If you have any <br /> questions, at any point, please feel free to interrupt. <br /> Figure I, which talks about the Legislative <br /> Branch, which is Option #2, gives a breakdown of what the <br /> Charter Commission proposes. Which is a seven member council, <br /> two at-large council members, four-year terms. Five district <br /> council members, and it gives the districts that they will be <br /> representing and the number of years of their terms, two-year <br /> terms. Are there any questions on Figure I? <br /> We' ll proceed to Figure II, Legislative Branch/County <br /> Council Attorney. Call it proposed amendment #2. This talks <br /> about the hiring of a council attorney and staff for legal <br /> assistance. Corporation Counsel will remain chief legal <br /> advisor for County of Hawaii. Proposed amendment #5 gives the Planning Director <br /> more authority to process zoning, special exception applications <br /> and be in charge of variance approvals.
