HAWAII COUNTY CHARTER COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> 14th Session and Public Hearing <br /> April 17, 1979 <br /> Punalu'u and Naalehu, Hawaii <br /> The fourteenth session of the Hawaii County Charter <br /> Commission was called to order at 4:46 p.m. in the Punalu'u <br /> Village Restaurant Meeting Room, Punalu'u Hawaii , by <br /> Mr. Kimiaki Sakata, Chairman. <br /> The roll recorded the following: <br /> Present: Mr. Harlan Cadinha <br /> Mr. Richard Ishida <br /> Mrs. Amy Iwamoto <br /> Mrs. Gloria Kobayashi. <br /> Mr. Akira Omonaka <br /> Mr. Kimiaki Sakata <br /> Mr. Herman Sensano <br /> Mr. Joseph Trulson <br /> Mr. Basilio Yagong <br /> Mr. Matsuo Yanaga <br /> Absent Mr. Spencer Kalani Schutte <br /> and <br /> Excused : <br /> Also Attorney Stuart Oda <br /> Present : Recording Secretary Joan Carnett <br /> APPROVAL The Chair called for approval of minutes dated <br /> OF MINUTES: April 3, 1979. <br /> Mr. Trulson made the motion to <br /> approve the minutes as submitted. <br /> Seconded by Mrs. Iwamoto and un- <br /> imously carried. <br /> COMMUNI- The following communications were considered: <br /> CATIONS: <br /> Comm. 40 : Statement from Jack Konno, Division Director, <br /> United Public Workers, dated April 10 , 1979 <br /> submitting recommendations for Charter <br /> revision. <br />
